Success at the Welsh Alpaca Show

Last weekend we attended the very first Welsh Alpaca Show at the United Counties Showground in Carmarthen. Bingley, Willoughby and Bocelli were in attendance providing Alpaca Experiences where people could give them a walk, cuddle and feed them and they proved VERY popular - especially Bingley who posed beautifully for those Selfies (he's such a Diva)!

Then we took to the show ring with Bingley and Willoughby taking part in the White Male Huacaya Group. Willoughby took 4th place and to my amazement, Bingley took 1st! For their first ever show, I was over the moon. Bingley then took to the ring again for the Champion Class and was just pipped at the post by a very handsome boy and deserved winner.

Then came the Fancy Dress which was put to the public vote by a show of hands. Willoughby entered as Leigh Halfpaca in full Welsh rugby kit with Bingley lauding it over everyone as St David with a twist (the twist being a massive Welsh afro wig!) Well my boys did it again, with Bingley taking 3rd place and Willoughby taking the top spot with an overwhelming show of support from the public.

Needless to say, I'm incredibly proud of my boys and they are still being spoilt rotten with extra kisses and cuddles.

The date for next years show has been set for 10th October so put it in your diaries - it's a fantastic day out for all the family.
